Who We Are |
Two Churches - One Location - Better Together
As we continue to pray for God’s direction, there is a recurring theme resounding to us, “Better Together!” We were created to be together!
In Ephesians 2:21 it says, “We are carefully joined together in him, becoming a holy temple for the Lord.”
We become the Church when we realize that the church is not a building. The building is only a tool to build the Kingdom. I Samuel 14:35: “And Saul built an altar to God; the first one he had ever built.” Saul is building altars to God and altars are places where people connect to God.
Then in the next chapter, I Samuel 15:12 says, ”Saul went up to Carmel to build a monument to himself.” Somewhere between those two verses, Saul stopped building altars to God and
started building monuments to himself. Somewhere the church has stopped making altars and started building monuments (denominations, programs, personality based outreaches and massive facilities.) At some point, it was no longer about God and His Kingdom. It was about Saul and his.
At Bellevue Grace/Uprising, we are not in competition with each other; we are here to complement each other. Building the same Kingdom, we become ‘Better Together!’ There are over 400,000 people in a 20-mile radius of our church facilities. We can be reach out to hundreds, if not thousands, of those who live right here in our own back yard! Join us, and let’s do it together!
Our Vision
We are a relevant church, driven to help people have a life that is connected to God, consistently growing and committed to serving others.
